The multi-arc ion coating machine has used the newly developed cathode electric arc ion source. This new source can effectively reduce the amount of large particles and the size of particles during operation.  Furthermore, it operates stably and can maintain work for a long time under low electricity.  Therefore, the coated film connects well to the base and is featured by smooth surface and high micro-hardness etc..  This equipment can plate many types of work pieces (tool and die, gauge and cutting tool, bearing and piston ring etc.).There are multiple types of coating film (single metal or alloy).It can be used not only for coating equipment for functional film to extend the service life of product and but also the decorative coating to improve the appearance of products

1. Main coating types 

A..TiN: hardness is 2300 to 2500HV, the friction coefficient is 0.65, and the color is gold yellow.

B..ZrN: its hardness is 2000 to 2300 HV, the friction coefficient is 0.55, and the color is blue yellow.

C..CrN (CrC)/: its hardness is 2000 to 2300HV, the friction coefficient is 0.5, and the color is silver black.

D..TiCN: its hardness is 3000 to 3500HV, the friction coefficient is 0.5, and the color is grey black.

E..TiALN: its hardness is 2400 to 2600HV, friction coefficient is 0.68 and the color is purple black.

F..wc/c:its hardness is 1000 to 1300HV, friction coefficient is 0.1and the color is grey black.
